MWAA Passport Challenge

The MWAA Passport Challenge launched two years ago. And as in previous years, based on attendee feedback, we have enhanced, improved and modified the program to increase individual participation.
The 2010 MWAA Passport Challenge is again available to all 8th Annual conference attendees, vendors, industry professionals, sponsors, MLS......any one who attends the conference is eligible to participate and win fabulous prizes.
All qualified program participants will be entered into a prize drawing to be held following the Thursday, July 22nd closing reception. The drawing will take place in the Schaumburg East Ballroom. YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN. Please note: Individual participant qualification is validated and approved only by the MWAA Board of Director or MWAA Advisory Board Members.
During on-site registration and check in, you will be provided with a Passport (see below picture). Each Passport Challenge participant will be required to obtain participation stickers to be qualified and entered into the Passport Challenge Program.
Below is a recap of the qualification requirements:
1. Attend and obtain participation sticker at a minimum of 4 MWAA Educational Sessions
2. Meet and obtain appropriate stickers from each of the MWAA Golden Wheat Sponsors -
Golden Wheat Sponsors are located in the Sponsorship Showcase
3. Meet and obtain appropriate stickers from each of the MWAA Harvest Moon Sponsors -
Harvest Moon sponsors are located in the Sponsorship Showcase
4. Meet and obtain appropriate stickers from each of the MWAA General Sponsors -
General Sponsors are located in the Vendor Hall and identified by the Green MWAA Balloon
on their vendor table
Does it sound like challenge? Without all these GENEROUS sponsors and exhibitors, the MWAA Conference event would not be possible. The prizes are worth the Challenge!

2010 MWAA Great Passport Give-Away Rules
1. A Passport Book shall be provided to every person registered for the MWAA Conference upon check-in at registration.
2. All persons registered are eligible to win a prize, except MWAA Board of Directors, Officers and Advisory Board of MWAA and Contractors of the MWAA are not eligible to win.
3. All persons must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible.
4. The prizes are:

5. In order for the Passport Book to be acceptable for entry into the drawing:
The registered person must fill in all the information at the top of the left inside page of the Passport Book and sign his/her name.
The Passport Book MUST contain the following stickers:

3 Orange Stickers – MWAA Golden Wheat Sponsors
4 Light Blue Stickers – MWAA Harvest Moon Sponsors
9 Yellow Stickers – MWAA General Sponsors
The registered person must submit the completed Passport Book to the MWAA before 7:00pm on Thursday, July 22, 2010.
6. There are 12 sessions in the MWAA agenda. The registered person must attend the session to receive the session sticker. Session stickers will be given out at the conclusion of each session. The sessions are:

7. Exhibitors are located in the Vendor/Exhibit Hall. Each has a unique Exhibitor sticker and each participant must ask an Exhibitor for a sticker at his/her exhibit. Exhibitors may only give out stickers inside the Exhibit Hall during times when the Vendor/Exhibit Hall is open. The participant must place the sticker in the appropriate page of the Passport.
8. Each completed Passport book will be placed in the Passport container.
9. The MWAA President shall appoint a single individual, known as the Representative, who will be responsible for maintaining control and security of all of the Passport Books. Such individual shall certify that all completed Passports submitted to the MWAA have been placed in the container where the winning Passports will be drawn.
10. The public drawing will be on Thursday, July 22, 2010 at 7:00pm in the Schaumburg West Ballroom.
YOU MUST BE PRESENT TO WIN.
The Representative will draw a Passport Booklet from the Passport container for the prizes in succession. The Representative will examine the Passport Book for completeness. If the Passport Book is incomplete, the Representative will disqualify the Passport Book. If the Passport Book is complete, the Representative will call the name of the participant and ask him/her to come forward and claim his/her prize. If the participant who submitted the Passport does not come forward and claim his/her prize within five (5) minutes after being called, the Representative will disqualify that Passport Book for that participant. Then the Representative will draw another Passport Book and repeat the process. This process will proceed until all prizes have been awarded.
11. Each prize winner must sign a W-9 form and give the W-9 form to the MWAA Representative to claim their prize.
12. The prize winner is responsible for any applicable taxes.
13. The prize winner shall take the prize in 'as is' condition.
14. No part of the Passport Give-Away is a tax-deductible contribution.
15. The Passport Give-Away is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, and is void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.
16. If for any reason the raffle is canceled, no prizes will be awarded and the MWAA will make no payment to any participant.
